My client has been at the forefront of providing technology to the electronics and telco manufacturers for the last 35 years. Its products ensure that its customers are able to produce top end products. Due to an internal promotion they are looking for a field service engineer to join their team.

Based out of Glasgow you will be providing a range of technical advice to the firms clients as well as visiting sites where the equipment is installed and fault finding on defective equipment as well as undertaking general maintenance duties to ensure optimum performance of the company products. You will be covering the UK and Europe with at least one weeks overseas travel a month. Candidates are likely to have a electrical/electronic background with at least an HNC in an engineering discipline, a knowledge of drives and controls is advantageous. My client is looking for someone with good fault finding skills, initiative to suggest product improvements and above all a can do attitude. You should also have a fully valid UK driving licence. A second language would be advantageous.
