Service Engineer / Service Technician / Offshore Engineer required to join a leading provider of fluid control and separation processes.

The Successful Service Engineer / Service Technician / Offshore Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and installation of fluid separation equipment, onshore and offshore, such as centrifuges, mud coolers, disc stacks, and more.

The Service Engineer / Service Technician / Offshore Engineer will have offshore mechanical engineering experience such as rotating equipment, centrifuges, pumps, turbines, hydraulics, generators, compressors, pneumatics, and / or similar mechanical engineering equipment.

Service Engineer / Service Technician / Offshore Engineer Role
  • Will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and installation of fluid separation equipment, onshore and offshore, such as centrifuges, mud coolers, disc stacks, and more.
  • The offshore Service Engineer will carry out repair and installation at the workshop in Aberdeen when not offshore.
  • To assist in the training and onboarding of new / less experienced personal, both onshore and offshore.
  • Submit accurate visit and time sheets duly signed by the customer upon completion of the work, including the detail of any damaged equipment.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.
 

Service Engineer / Service Technician / Offshore Engineer Requirements
  • Proven diagnostic skills on complicated mechanical / rotating equipment engineering systems.
  • Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Offshore Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / M&E Engineer or similar.
  • The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Offshore experience is critical.
  • Will have offshore mechanical engineering experience such as rotating equipment, centrifuges, pumps, turbines, hydraulics, generators, compressors, pneumatics, and / or similar mechanical engineering equipment.
  • A technical mechanical / electrical / electronic / instrumentation qualification, apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
