LOCATION - Drumchapel, Glasgow

SALARY - £30000 - 32000

HOURS - Mon - Thur 8am - 5pm and Friday a 4.30pm finish

This is a full time, permanent job opportunity with REAL prospects for progression and promotion.

COMPANY OVERVIEW
Large, very successful building services company based on the outskirts of Glasgow are hiring an additional member of the Office/Plant and Equipment team.

This is a very specialised role and will focus completely on all of the organisations Plant Equipment based across many of their sites in Central Scotland.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The company owns literally hundreds of pieces of plant equipment (all different makes, models, sizes and functions) and this role will be very varied, busy and fast paced.

You will liaise directly with all of the Contract/Site Managers across Scotland, regarding the full inventory of equipment that they have on each site.

BUILDING STRONG AND CLOSE WORKING RELATIONSHIPS WITH EACH MANAGER WILL BE ESSENTIAL TO YOUR SUCCESS IN CARRYING OUT THIS ROLE.

All equipment must have a regular schedule in place for inspection, servicing, maintenance and also a plan for any emergency breakdown of equipment.

SPEED and an ability to prioritize quickly will be very important skills within this role.

Each piece of equipment will also have an average life span and the Plant Administrator must continually check with each site and remind them of when it is time to review their equipment - This will also involve contacting suppliers for quotes and pricing of new equipment.

The role WILL offer future progression for those who have further ambitions and may involve site visits and inspections on all of the sites.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Ideally you will come from a Hire desk/Plant/Heavy equipment/Construction/Building Services background.
Very strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Assertive but with a diplomatic manner.
First class administration skills
PC/IT literate.
