Production Planner

Up to £40,000 DOE, poss negotiable

Monday – Friday, half day finish on Fridays, + many great company benefits.

We are looking for an experienced person for the position of Production Planner with our electronics PCBA client based in Livingston. Applicants must have relevant experience of production planning within a manufacturing environment and also ideally within electronics or something very similar.

You would be responsible for the creation, modification and management of manufacturing production schedules, and you will also proactively identify and implement improvements around the planning process.

You must have a good and demonstrable planning experience and

•             Have a good understanding of materials and production processes

•             Be able to work independently and under pressure

•             Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written                     

•             Have strong interpersonal skills, and be able to build good relationships with colleagues

•             Be able to align and motivate people and provide leadership

•             Have good problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick and effective decisions

•             Have strong IT systems experience and competence (Excel, ERP, reports, databases, etc)

•             The ability to prepare and communicate realistic and detailed production plans
