2020 Recruitment are working with a fabrication client who are looking to add Semi – Skilled Labourers to their Edinburgh based team.

This will initially be a 6–8-week contract but will likely be extended or made permanent.

To be considered you must have hands on experience of working on site or in a workshop environment.

CSCS card is essential, and it would be an advantage to have own transport.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 07:00 – 15:30 with a 14:30 finish on a Friday.

Duties & Responsibilities

As the Semi – Skilled Labourer your duties will include:

  • Follow instructions, both verbal and written.
  • Adhere to company safe working practices at all times.
  • Work both as part of a team and unsupervised in a safe and trustworthy manner.
  • Operate machinery and plant, including hand and power tools.
  • Communicate with colleagues, management and visitors in a polite and friendly way.
  • Fabricate, weld and paint to a reasonable standard of quality.
  • Read and understand basic drawings.
  • Complete any paperwork in a timely manner (e.g. time sheets, job card signoffs).

Requirements

To be considered for this position you must have the following:

  • Valid CSCS card
  • Experience within a workshop or construction environment
  • Experience of using hand tools
  • Drivers Licence would be advantage
  • Reliable

Package
