What will you be doing?
- To operate 360 material handlers, associated equipment and production machinery safely and efficiently.
- Maintain desired production rates of waste processing and or RDF production.
- Manage unprocessed stock piles of commercial & industrial waste.
- To be responsible for the daily checks of 360 material handlers. Report any defects, incidents or mechanical breakdown as and when they arise.
- To safely stockpile different waste streams into associated storage bunkers.
- Conduct daily cleaning of machinery, mobile equipment and working environment.
- To assist with the maintenance of plant & machinery as necessary.
What are we looking for?
- Valid current NPORS 360 material handler licence essential. If you do not hold this or equivalent qualification, please do not apply.
- Loading Shovel licence desirable but not essential.
- Safe and competent knowledge of plant and equipment and understanding of Health & Safety.
- Ability to work as part of a team and own initiative when required.
- General numeracy and literacy to complete production reports.
Please note this is a 4 on 4 off position rotating on day and nightshift.
