Job Purpose:
Join a dynamic team as a Party Chief in the Positioning and Construction Support sector, overseeing field operations for diverse survey and positioning projects globally. You will lead multi-disciplined teams, ensuring compliance with project requirements while serving as the main point of contact between client representatives, project managers, and offshore teams.

- Plan and oversee survey activities, ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards and contractual obligations.
- Maintain clear communication with client representatives, project managers, and onshore/offshore teams.
- Develop and uphold operational procedures and work instructions, including comprehensive handover notes and project debrief reports.
- Coordinate and manage project briefings, daily meetings, and safety meetings.
- Ensure survey spread integrity and resource suitability, reporting deficiencies appropriately.
- Implement and oversee organisational initiatives and campaigns at the worksite, ensuring proactive team engagement.
- Supervise and manage offshore staff effectively.
- Degree/HND or equivalent in a relevant survey, engineering, or geoscience discipline, or equivalent vocational qualifications and experience.
- Minimum of 800 operational days in offshore construction survey experience.
- Understanding of client deliverables and achievement processes.
- Proven experience in supervisory or senior roles.
- Proficient in computer usage and report writing.
- Strong planning and supervisory skills, with the ability to manage personnel and communicate effectively.
- Ability to foster a culture focused on safety and quality within the offshore team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of building strong working relationships.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and flexible team player.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, travel as needed, and work offshore for up to 4 weeks at a time.
- Resides within a reasonable distance of a major UK airport.
